These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the purchase of goods from BedroomKing via our website. By placing an order for delivery to California, USA, you agree to the following terms.

1. International Order & Importer of Record

• UK Manufacturing: All Bedroom King beds are bespoke and manufactured in the United Kingdom.
• Importer of Record: When you purchase a bed for delivery to California, you are the "Importer of Record." Bedroom King facilitates the shipping process, but you are responsible for ensuring the product can be legally imported into the US.
• Compliance: Our products are designed to meet high UK quality standards. We take reasonable steps to ensure compliance with California household goods regulations.

2. Shipping & California Delivery

• Transit Times: Since beds are shipped via ocean or air freight from the UK, estimated delivery times are typically 6-8 weeks. These are estimates and not guarantees.
• Freight Delivery: Deliveries are made via third-party freight carriers. You must provide a valid California address accessible by a large delivery vehicle.
• Customs & Duties: Prices on www.bedroomking.us include all estimated customs duties and US entry fees unless stated otherwise.

3. California-Specific Disclosures

• CCPA Compliance: As a California resident, you have specific data privacy rights. Please refer to our Privacy Policy to see how we handle your data and how to exercise your right to "Opt-Out" of data sharing.

4. Sizing & Measurements

• The "King" Difference: Please be aware that UK King/Super King dimensions differ from US King/California King dimensions. All beds & mattresses made will be made to USA sizing specifications.
• Responsibility: It is the customer's responsibility to check the specific dimensions in inches listed on www.bedroomking.us. We are not liable for US mattresses not fitting our UK-manufactured frames if the dimensions provided were accurate at the time of sale.

5. Damages, Returns, and Refunds

• Inspection Upon Arrival: You must inspect the crate/packaging before signing the delivery receipt. If there is visible damage, you must mark "Damaged" on the driver’s paperwork.
• 48-Hour Reporting: Any internal damage or missing parts must be reported to support@bedroomking.us within 48 hours of receipt.
• Returns: Because of the prohibitive cost of international return shipping, all sales are final once the bed has left our UK facility, except in cases of verified manufacturing defects.

6. Warranty & Governing Law

• Limited Warranty: We provide a 5 year warranty on the structural integrity of our bed frames. This does not cover damage from California’s climate (e.g., extreme humidity or dryness) or improper assembly.
• Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
