Return & Refund Policy

At Bedroom King, our beds are handcrafted in the UK specifically for you. Because our products are made-to-order and shipped internationally, we have strict policies regarding returns and cancellations.


1. Order Cancellations

  • 48-Hour Window: You have 48 hours from the moment you place your order to cancel it for a full refund.
  • After 48 Hours: Once this window has passed, your bed enters the production phase. At this stage, the order is locked and cannot be cancelled or refunded.

2. Delivery Timelines & Delays

  • Standard Window: Our standard delivery timeframe is 6–8 weeks.
  • Grace Period: Due to the nature of sea freight and international logistics (including potential port delays, customs inspections, or local vehicle breakdowns), please allow an additional 2 weeks on top of the standard timeframe before inquiring about a "late" delivery.
  • Liability: Bedroom King is not liable for costs or inconveniences caused by delays within this 10-week total window.

3. Faulty or Damaged Items

  • Replacement Guarantee: If your item arrives damaged or has a manufacturing fault, we will replace the affected part or the full item at our expense.
  • Reporting: You must inspect your items upon delivery. Any damage must be reported to support@bedroomking.us within 48 hours of receipt, accompanied by clear photographic evidence.

4. Returns Policy (Non-Faulty Items)

Because our items are made-to-order and shipped from the UK, we generally do not accept returns. However, if we agree to a discretionary return, the following strict conditions apply:

  • Return Fee: A standard, non-negotiable fee of $400 will be deducted from your refund to cover a portion of the international shipping and restocking costs.
  • Returns Process: Approved returns are handled through our US/California logistics process to make the return procedure clearer and more efficient for our customers.
  • Hygiene Rule (Mattresses): For hygiene reasons, mattresses cannot be returned once the packaging has been opened. No exceptions.
  • Assembly Fees: Any fees paid for professional assembly or "White Glove" services are non-refundable.
  • Condition & Packaging: Items must be returned in their original, full packaging. You must provide clear photos showing the item is safely packed and ready for transport before a return collection can be authorized.

5. How to Initiate a Return

Note: Do not attempt to ship items back to the UK or a local warehouse without a written Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) from our team. Unauthorized returns will be rejected.
