Shipping policy

1. Delivery Time-frames

  • Standard Lead Time: Our beds typically take 6–8 weeks from the date of order to arrive at your California residence.
  • Sea Freight & Logistics Buffer: International shipping involves complex variables. We require a 2-week grace period on top of our standard lead time (totaling up to 10 weeks) to account for sea freight delays, US Customs clearance, or local courier issues (such as vehicle breakdowns).
  • No Refund for Delays: Bedroom King does not offer refunds, discounts, or compensation for deliveries that fall within this 10-week window or for delays caused by third-party shipping lines and couriers.

2. The Delivery Process

  • No Specific Day Delivery: To keep our shipping efficient, we utilize a fixed freight schedule. We cannot offer specific-day or specific-time delivery requests. You will be contacted by our local California courier partner when your item is ready for final delivery.
  • Missed Deliveries: If you confirm a delivery slot with our courier and are not present to receive the goods, a $120 non-negotiable redelivery fee will be charged before a second attempt is made.

3. Critical: Measuring for Access

Our beds are large, heavy, and often handcrafted as substantial single pieces (especially headboards). It is the customer’s sole responsibility to ensure the item fits.

  • Measure Twice: You must measure all door widths, hallway turns, ceiling heights, and stairwells before ordering.
  • Failed Access: If the bed cannot fit into your room of choice due to access restrictions, the delivery will be treated as a "Failed Delivery." In this event, the item will be left in a safe ground-floor location.

4. Assembly Service (If Purchased)

  • Non-Refundable: Assembly is a labor-only service. Once the team has arrived, this fee is 100% non-refundable.
  • No Dismantling: Our team will assemble your new Bedroom King bed only. We do not dismantle, move, or dispose of old beds or mattresses.

5. Preparing Your Home

  • Clear the Path: Remove mirrors, wall art, and ornaments from the delivery route.
  • Floor Protection: For safety reasons, delivery teams cannot remove their footwear. Please cover your floors and carpets prior to arrival.
  • Liability: Bedroom King and its contractors are not responsible for damage to property if the delivery path was not sufficiently cleared or protected.
